Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
Breathe & Bloom is a small, welcoming yoga and wellbeing studio with a maximum of eight participants per class. These Terms & Conditions are designed to ensure that bookings are managed fairly and that everyone can enjoy a safe and comfortable experience.
By booking a class, course, workshop, retreat or event with Breathe & Bloom, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings
Places at Breathe & Bloom are limited to a maximum of eight participants and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Your place is confirmed once the required booking and payment have been received.
All new participants are required to complete the Breathe & Bloom pre-yoga questionnaire before attending their first session.
2. Block-Booked Classes
Regular classes at Breathe & Bloom are generally booked and paid for as a complete block.
Your booking reserves your place for the full block rather than for individual sessions.
If you are unable to attend a session within your booked block, unfortunately a refund, credit or transfer to another block cannot normally be offered.
This is because your place has been reserved for you and, with only eight spaces available, it may not be possible to offer that place to somebody else at short notice.
If Breathe & Bloom has to cancel a class, an alternative session, appropriate credit or proportionate refund will be offered.
3. Workshops & Special Events
Payment is required to secure your place on a workshop or special event unless different arrangements are stated at the time of booking.
Due to the small and intimate nature of Breathe & Bloom events, places are limited and advance costs may be incurred.
If you need to cancel, please contact Breathe & Bloom as soon as possible.
Where a place can be successfully filled, Breathe & Bloom may be able to offer a refund, less any booking deposit and reasonable costs already incurred.
4. Retreat Bookings
A 50% non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your place on a Breathe & Bloom retreat unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
The remaining balance must be paid four weeks before the retreat date.
If the balance is not received by the due date, Breathe & Bloom reserves the right to release the place after reasonable attempts have been made to contact you.
The booking deposit contributes towards administration and costs associated with planning and securing your retreat place.
5. Retreat Cancellations
If you need to cancel your retreat place, please let Breathe & Bloom know as soon as possible.
More than four weeks before the retreat:
Payments made will be refunded, less the 50% booking deposit and any reasonable non-recoverable costs already incurred.
Between two and four weeks before the retreat:
A refund may be offered where your place can be successfully filled, less the booking deposit and any reasonable costs already incurred.
Less than two weeks before the retreat:
Refunds cannot normally be offered because arrangements and financial commitments for the retreat will usually have been finalised. However, if your place can be successfully filled, an appropriate refund may be considered after deducting reasonable costs and any actual loss resulting from the cancellation.
These arrangements do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
6. Cancellation by Breathe & Bloom
Occasionally Breathe & Bloom may need to cancel or make changes to a class, workshop, retreat or event due to illness, insufficient numbers or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If Breathe & Bloom cancels an event and a suitable alternative cannot be provided, payment for the affected service will be refunded.
Breathe & Bloom cannot normally accept responsibility for additional expenses you have arranged independently, such as travel or accommodation, except where required by law.
7. Health & Participation
All new participants are required to complete and sign the Breathe & Bloom pre-yoga questionnaire before attending.
Please let Jo know if there are any significant changes to your health or circumstances that may affect your yoga practice.
You are encouraged to listen to your body and practise within a range that feels appropriate for you. Please stop if a movement causes pain or makes you feel unwell and let your teacher know.
Where appropriate, you should seek advice from a suitable healthcare professional before participating.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits Breathe & Bloom’s responsibilities where liability cannot legally be excluded.
8. Arriving for Your Class
Please arrive in sufficient time to settle before your class or session begins.
Late arrival can be disruptive to other participants and, once a class has begun, it may not always be possible to admit late arrivals.
Please treat the studio, equipment, teachers and fellow participants with care and respect.
9. Personal Belongings
Please take reasonable care of your personal belongings while attending Breathe & Bloom.
Breathe & Bloom cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings unless this results from negligence on our part or where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
10. Photography & Social Media
Photographs or videos in which participants are identifiable will not be used for Breathe & Bloom promotional or social-media purposes without appropriate permission.
You are always welcome to say that you would prefer not to be photographed.
11. Privacy
Personal information provided to Breathe & Bloom will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data-protection legislation and the Breathe & Bloom Privacy Policy.
Health information required for yoga participation is collected separately through the Breathe & Bloom pre-yoga questionnaire.
12. Changes to Timetables & Teachers
Occasionally it may be necessary to make reasonable changes to a class time, teacher, programme or event.
Where a significant change affects your booking, Breathe & Bloom will let you know as soon as reasonably possible.
13. Your Consumer Rights
Nothing contained within these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
